Featured Car: C3217 BMW 320 SI

The car is badged '320si' from the marketing name for the road-going model 2.0 litre Sport E90 version of the BMW 3 series. The Scalextric model livery represents the car as raced in the BTCC race at Donington in 2010. Driver, and team principle, Arthur Forster drove to a 14th place in the 20 car field.

Scalextric and Forster Motorsport teamed up to race the BMW for a series of heats during the 2010 BTCC season with differing liveries. Here, C3217 is shown with the diagonal livery on the door panels as raced at Donington.

The competition is getting fierce as heats take place around the world in the 2011 Scalextric World Championship.

The top 2 drivers remain unchanged, with 3rd place being claimed by Daniel Scheufele from Germany. Despite challengers from the UK taking their turn to set a new fastest lap the leaderboard remains a fully German affair!
